Like many fashion lovers, I was checking out the endless stream of Instagram posts about Fashion Week last September. While I was browsing, I discovered Markus Lupfer’s Spring/Summer collection and completely fell in love. Colorful, young, shiny and totally my thing!

Markus Lupfer is a London based designer who graduated from the University of Westminster in 1997. He was a regular at Fashion Week before he became Design Director at Spanish fashion house Armand Basi. He also consulted and did collabs with brands like Mulberry and Cacharel. In 2010, he started showing his collections again at London Fashion Week (thank God!).

These bejeweled jelly sandals are a must-have in my closet next Summer. They also inspire me to get crafty and decorate my own shoes!

Don’t the clothes makes you long for hot Summer days? The color palette of neon pink, aqua blue, bright green and tangerine orange makes me think of ice creams in all colors and flavors. I think the combination with the hypnotizing iridescent fabrics is really original and innovative!

Markus Lupfer’s showroom at London Fashion Week was decorated with a vintage VW van, surfboards and a tiki hut bar, bringing back surf vibes. It sure got me into Summer already… But first there is Christmas to celebrate a.k.a my favorite holiday of the year!
